At IE University, he leads MBA programs and contributes significantly to IE Publishing, particularly in expansion strategy and sales management. Recognized with Teaching Excellence Awards, Dr. González is a sought-after voice in entrepreneurship, underscored by accolades such as the Best Startup Award 2023 by AJE and the Madrid City Council. His multifaceted capabilities span business strategy, academic leadership, entrepreneurial skills, and collaborative ventures with renowned brands and institutions—making him a key asset to our organization.

He brings extensive experience and strategic vision to our team as Director of New Connectivity and Industry 4.0 IoT Business at Telefónica. Focused on defining and executing business strategies in emerging connectivity technologies and IoT implementations, he has played a key role in advancing industrial IoT and LPWA technologies on a global scale. His leadership extends to Smart Manufacturing steering committees within the GSMA, as well as leading private 5G network initiatives worldwide over the past two years. Prior to his tenure at Telefónica, Andrés held key IT positions at Airbus-EADS, where he gained deep insight into the intersection of aerospace and digital technologies. Since 2019, he has also contributed significantly to education in IoT and data analytics as a professor at MIOTI Tech and Business School - MIT in Madrid, emphasizing practical applications of AI and IoT in business contexts. Andrés Escribano’s career is defined by strategic insight, technical expertise, and transformative impact in the IoT and aerospace industries, making him a pivotal leader in driving digital innovation and business growth.

In recent years, Diego has developed his career in innovative, technology-driven, and internationally oriented environments, taking responsibility for end-to-end project management, from planning and coordination through execution, monitoring, and results evaluation. This experience has strengthened his skills in client management, needs identification, multidisciplinary team coordination, and building strong, lasting professional relationships. His participation in international initiatives and collaborations has also given him a global perspective, a high degree of adaptability, and experience working with stakeholders from different professional backgrounds, cultures, and markets.

He is an experienced IT professional driven by a deep passion for computing and technology. With a solid background spanning software development, cybersecurity, and hands-on expertise in electronic and telemetry diagnostics, he excels at navigating complex technological landscapes. His expertise stands out in his role within the innovative ADA project, where he led the integration of hardware and software for patient follow-up systems in respiratory care, with a focus on data analysis and cybersecurity. His previous experience in automotive electronic diagnostics provided a strong foundation for managing sophisticated cyber-physical systems, further enhancing his ability to deliver cohesive solutions.
