He brings extensive experience and strategic vision to our team as Director of New Connectivity and Industry 4.0 IoT Business at Telefónica. Focused on defining and executing business strategies in emerging connectivity technologies and IoT implementations, he has played a key role in advancing industrial IoT and LPWA technologies on a global scale. His leadership extends to Smart Manufacturing steering committees within the GSMA, as well as leading private 5G network initiatives worldwide over the past two years. Prior to his tenure at Telefónica, Andrés held key IT positions at Airbus-EADS, where he gained deep insight into the intersection of aerospace and digital technologies. Since 2019, he has also contributed significantly to education in IoT and data analytics as a professor at MIOTI Tech and Business School - MIT in Madrid, emphasizing practical applications of AI and IoT in business contexts. His experience spans from emergency services at Superior Air-Ground Ambulance Service to strategic development roles, with a strong emphasis on scalability and innovation in healthcare technologies. He is an experienced IT professional driven by a deep passion for computing and technology. With a solid background spanning software development, cybersecurity, and hands-on expertise in electronic and telemetry diagnostics, he excels at navigating complex technological landscapes.
